Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol ist eine britische Rockband aus Glasgow und Belfast. Snow Patrol nannten sich zunächst Polarbear.

Ihren kommerziellen Durchbruch schafften die Jungs erst Anfang 2004 mit ihrem dritten Album Final Straw. 2006 erschien das Album Eyes Open. Die Singleauskupplungen You're All I Have und Chasing Cars erreichten spitzen Chartplatzierungen in den US-UK-/ sowie in den deutschen Charts.
Im Oktober 2008 veröffentlichte die Band ihr fünftes Album mit dem Titel A Hundred Million Suns. Snow Patrol nahm einen Großteil der Aufnahmen des Albums in Irland (Grouse Lodge Studios) als auch in Berlin in den Hansa Studios auf.
